Most of you probably know what I'm talking about. It's that moment when you're so excited for summer you can barely stand it, then your teacher has to ruin it by informing you that, "your next year teacher would like you to do an assignment over the summer."
So unfortunately I had this experience during, what is supposed to be, the best summer of our lives. So like a good student I started this week, and not only do we have to read the book but we also have to write something along the lines of a W.A.C. for each chapter.
So I was writing my W.A.C and noticed that I hadn't skipped a line, so I started over. One W.A.C no problem right? So I rewrote it and went on with the next one. After I got done with about five, I reread the guidelines. One of them stood out to me. The word limit. I had only wrote about 20 words per W.A.C. The minimum was 80. So I had to rewrite all of them. It was not a fun time.
So just let this be a warning to all of you. Before you start a summer assignment make sure you read the rules. It will probably keep you from having to redo the whole thing.
