I want to talk about something important. Being unique. People say at first that you should be whoever you want to be, and you shouldn't care what other people think about you. After you start to be yourself, they judge you and disagree with your choices. EVEN THOUGH IT'S YOUR LIFE! They don't want you to be who you are; they want you to be who they want you to be. Whether they admit it or not. Why can't they come out and say that they want you to be like them?
If you aren't a carbon copy of the "average" person, you're judged. People think that you aren't living your life the right way. News flash: people will always judge you. No two people are the same, and we shouldn't try to be. The greatest part of being you is that you get to be you. There is nobody else that you were created to be. Don't judge others if they don't live their lives the way you do.
I tried to be someone that I wasn't for years. I dressed a certain way. I hung out with certain people, I acted in a certain manner. Only to realize that it's not who I am. So I dropped the people who pretended to like me, and I changed my look. After I stopped pretending, I found a new group of amazing friends and began to like myself more. I've never been happier.
What I'm trying to say is that you should be yourself. Don't conform to anyone else's standards; you only have to answer and to yourself and to God. Remember that readers. Ta-ta for now.
