Love. It's an easy word to throw around in middle school. You say that you "love" your crushes, right? Well you don't. A crush is a crush; it's as over as soon as it starts. And believe me, you'll have so many crushes in your life that each one will nearly always seem stronger than the last.
For example, love is like the movie "The Notebook." Their feelings for each other were so strong that they stayed with each other until the very end. Then again, they were just characters in a Nicholas Spark's novel...
Anyway, a crush is like Harry Potter and Cho Chang. It didn't last. Just like a lot of your crushes will! Nearly all of them! So go ahead and break out the tissues and ice cream because Heart Break City is coming and it's not going to be pretty. And don't worry I'm not gonna go all Motherly on ya, I've had tons of crushes in my life! Not that it's done me any good. I'm still single as a pringle. Well enough about me. So what I'm trying to say is, don't be so quick to think you've fallen in love. Middle School isn't the time to be finding your soul mate. It's the time to make mistakes. So go ahead, make a million and one mistakes about who you think you like! It's normal.
