Stereotypes. Common ideas like blondes are dumb, and a girl who wears makeup is a slut, or because someone has a certain skin color they belief a certain religion. Middle school happens to be one of the times of our lives where we are extremely judgemental. I'm able to say this because it happens to me all the time. During 5th grade (the grade we start middle school in my school system), someone made a mean comment about my acne. It made me feel so self-conscious that I started wearing makeup. I'm in 8th grade now and I haven't gone to school for one day without makeup on since I began wearing it. People have judged me for years and my friends tell me all the time that I am beautiful without all of those things, but it doesn't matter. I'm self-conscious and uncomfortable in my own skin. And all of the stereotypes just make it worse. Don't make one another feel self-conscious. Sorry for being really serious in this chapter, I'll try to do a funny post next time my darlings. Au revoir!
