Dear Reader,
It is official; my middle school life has come to an end. I've really enjoyed the past four years of my life. I would not be who I am today with out going through all of the wonderful and terrible moments I had to face. I feel like 5th, 6th, and 7th grade led up to the best year of my life. Eighth grade has been a beautiful and amazing experience that I wouldn't change for the world. I've learned who my friends are, who I want to be, and that school can be fun.
I'm going to enjoy high school, but I will miss the place where I grew up mentally and physically. I want to share a few words of wisdom that I wish I had known when I was in middle school. So here it goes:
1) Popularity doesn't matter.
2) Find a group of friends who love and care about you.
3) You don't need to grow up so fast; you will have plenty of time for that.
4) Don't be too serious when it comes to your social life. Do be serious when it comes to your academic life.
5) You'll figure it all out eventually even if it doesn't seem that way.
I can't make you enjoy middle school, and you might not miss it. I'm just asking that you give it a chance. Because I would do it all over again if I could.
Sincerely,
A middle school graduate, The Wall Flower
